We created a brand new website, with the help of a top-notch graphic designer and fantastic copywriter, for insurance brokers h2i. We also set-up profiles for them across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+, and made sure the profiles not only looked fantastic, they also match the look and feel of the website.
After this we gave them full training on how to use their new WordPress website.
“Becky has been really helpful, great at simply taking over the technical aspects, willing to get involved in areas that I probably should have been doing myself and really swiftly to boot. She has excellent technical knowledge of social media and websites. She even gave me training on updating content etc. I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to create a social media presence.”
– Clive Harrison, Commercial Insurance Broker and Company Director
Surrey County Council
Over six hours of training, Social Quirk helped Surrey County Council get up to speed with all the major social networking sites.
We met with the Campaign Communications Coordinator Diana, who wanted to know how she could use the Surrey Matters social media accounts more effectively. Over the two sessions we covered:
- how to best use all the major platforms,
- how to manage time online,
- how to monitor and analyse social media campaigns,
- how to integrate social media with their current marketing methods.
In our second session we brought in an SEO expert to explain some of the finer aspects of Google Adwords and Analytics.
“Becky provided one to one social media training for me which was an excellent way to make the best use of the limited time that I had. She was able to deliver a bespoke presentation which meant that I didnt have to sit through a whole day’s course that involved areas of information that I didn’t need. Becky is well organised and her research into our organisation and how we could improve our social media presence was excellent, enabling her to give us informed and helpful information that immediately made a difference to our business. I have no hestitation in recommending her to businesses across Surrey.”
– Diana Christie, Campaign Communications Co-ordinator
Shepeau Stow and Gedney Hill Primary Schools
Social Quirk helped a small Lincolnshire primary school federation get started with social media.
We advised them on finding a good web designer to revamp their web presence, and then guided them through setting up and starting to use Facebook and Twitter to attract more pupils to their schools.
As part of their ongoing contract, each month we help the schools to develop an aspect of their presence, from how to appropriately put content featuring children online, to Facebook Ads to promote upcoming open days.
BNI Guildford Business
Social Quirk comprehensively managed the Facebook and Twitter pages for the Guildford Business chapter of BNI for around two years.
Both pages have seen a marked increase in regularity and quality of content shared, as well as hugely increased engagement levels with both members and non-members alike.
We also created an interesting and engaging website for the networking group, featuring individual member pages, and a blog, which we also manage.
“Awesome job on the web site Becky, quite simply that is the best BNI website I have ever seen.”
– Russ McKenzie, nTrust Systems
Dragonfire Glass Beads and Jewellery
We worked with a glass beads and jewellery designer to improve their online presence.
Social Quirk developed an attractive website, featuring e-commerce and a blog, allowing the designer Colette to sell her beads online. In April 2015 we spent an entire weekend working with Colette, helping her set up effective and efficient procedures for all aspects of her social media marketing. We also work with her on an ongoing basis to create a well-rounded social media presence.
